Bios:Rick Robertson, Senior Director, Energy Ventures at GE
Rick originates and manages investments for GE Ventures’ Energy vertical, where he covers Power & Water and Energy Management, with special focus on distributed energy resources including generation, storage, load management, and supply management. A GE veteran of ten years, Rick has also held roles in GE’s distributed generation business and most recently with GE’s Renewable business where he held various positions in strategy, marketing and product management.Andrew Lackner, Senior Director, Energy Ventures at GE
Andrew Lackner leads investments in the Power and Water and Energy Management markets for GE Ventures, where he has managed GE’s investment in over 40 companies that develop promising energy technologies and disruptive business models. Prior to joining GE, Andrew worked as an investment professional at Columbia Capital, a VC firm based out of Washington DC focused on communications and media. Andrew has also worked as a strategy consultant for early stage companies and corporate venture capital programs at Fletcher Spaght, and in product management at MicroStrategy, a business analytics enterprise software company.
Abby is currently a Strategic Marketing Leader for GE Renewables, where she is responsible for driving clear insights on the wind, solar & energy storage industries, identifying new demand opportunities and positioning GE Renewables for long-term, profitable growth. Her team’s areas of expertise include demand forecasting & analytics, competitive & customer intelligence, regional growth strategies and clear communications. Prior to this role, Abby worked in GE’s wind business, where she focused on customer analytics & insight, as well as the GE Renewables strategic growth plan. A graduate of GE’s Experienced Commercial Leadership Program, Abby has broad GE experience, having completed assignments in GE Corporate, Energy Financial Services and Energy Strategic Marketing.Jeff Wyatt, General Manager, Solar & Energy Storage, GE Power & Water
Jeff Wyatt is GM, Energy Storage & Solar Energy for GE’s renewable energy business. In this role, he is responsible for developing and executing GE’s competitive business strategy for energy storage and solar. Prior to GE, Jeff was CEO at Primestar Solar. He also has experience as a VP at VCFO, a professional services firm focused on providing strategic guidance to emerging growth and middle market companies, and in corporate auditing, as he began his career at Ernst and Young where he worked with emerging companies to scale operations, execute M&A deals, and secure capital.
