Oliver leads policy analysis and programs for GE Ventures and GE healthymagination at the intersection of health policy, global health, digital industrial innovation and corporate VC. Before joining GE Ventures, Oliver was Clinical Advisor and Policy Fellow at the Institute of Global Health Innovation, Imperial College London, and Clinical Advisor to the Institute’s Director, Professor the Lord Ara Darzi of Denham. In this role, he led and advised a range of international and UK-based healthcare projects across policy, parliamentary, commercial and academic fields. This included leading special projects for the executive management of the World Innovation Summit for Health in Qatar and advising the Reinvigoration of Rangoon General Hospital Charitable Trust in Myanmar.
He began his career as a junior doctor in the UK National Health Service and sat as a clinical representative and committee member for the British Pharmacological Society until 2016. He holds a degree in Medicine and a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacology with Industrial Experience, both from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
